Below is a pic of Jason and Rita's babies, Roscoe and Jasmine.
Jason cooked some "Cowboy Beans" last night to take to a graduation party. He cooked the beans in his smoker and had to get up every couple of hours to rotate the pans to different shelves. I rode with him this morning to deliver the beans.
We then went to Tutti Fruitti Kitchen for breakfast. This restaurant is on a working farm and they get a lot of their food items from the farm. It was on a list of Minnesota's best kept secrets, so I was glad Jason recommended we go there.
On Saturdays, they have a breakfast bar, so here we go again...

And my finale.
The food was very good. My favorite was the pancakes with strawberries, whipped topping, and maple syrup on top.
I left Jason's and Rita's about 12:30 p.m., and hopped on the Lake Wobegon Trail. Jason made me a couple of his Deluxe Elvis Sandwiches, which has peanut butter, banana, and Nutella on it. He said he calls it the Deluxe Elvis because Elvis Presley's favorite sandwich was peanut butter and banana. He also gave me some beef jerky.
I stayed on the Lake Wobegon Trail to the end, and it became the Central Lakes Trail.
The Lake Wobegon Trail is named after the fictional Lake Wobegon in Garrison Keillor's "Prairie Home Companion."
One town I went through was Melrose. The most noticeable structure is the St. Mary's Catholic School pictured below.
Right beside the Lake Wobegon Trail is a make believe place (I think) of Memoryville. It has a lot of nostalgic items sitting around. Some pics below.
Below are a couple of pics of Lake Osakis which is right beside the trail.
I went through Alexandria, and snapped a pic of this big guy.
I am camping tonight just off the Central Lakes Trail outside of Garfield, MN. Pic of my campsite.
I got my tent set up just before a thunderstorm rolled through. The storm cooled the temp down quite a bit. I hear another storm rumbling in the distance. Hopefully it won't be another one of those nights.
Total miles today: 66
