Day 12: 10/10/2022: Chester Springs to Solebury, PA

I woke up about 6:15 a.m. after a solid night's sleep.  I opened the curtain in the room in which I was staying, and this is the view I saw...

My route today is a lot less miles than any other day during this trip.  As a result, I was able to start pedaling a little later.  For breakfast, Ed cooked me a couple of fresh eggs that came from his hens and also toasted me a bagel.

Pics below of Ed and Annemarie seeing me off this morning for the last day of this journey.

A couple scenery pics from this morning.

I went through Valley Forge National Memorial Park (pics below).

Washington's Headquarters

Washington Memorial Chapel

For about 3.5 miles I was on the Schuylkill River Trail.  Below are some pics of the trail and the river.

Pic below of a very colorful house near East Norrinton.

Some pics around North Wales.

For several miles I rode on the US Hwy 202 Trail (pic below).  It's a nice wide paved trail that runs parallel to US Hwy 202.  It was nice not having to ride on the shoulder of that major highway.

Pic of my view during snack time at Doylestown.

I made it my final destination of this trip and to the home of my daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter (pics below).

Total miles today: 52.4

Total miles this trip: 1068.9
